Pastor Darius Thames is the Lead Pastor and Founder of Impact Bible Church, where the mission is to develop disciples, strengthen families, and impact communities through the transformative power of God’s Word. With 19 years of faithfully preaching the Gospel, Pastor Thames is known for a dynamic ministry that blends biblical depth with practical application. His preaching is charismatic, intellectually engaging, exegetically sound, and psychologically aware, with a passion for moving people beyond information into genuine transformation.
Committed to teaching Scripture in a way that is both understandable and life-changing, Pastor Thames believes the Word of God should not only be explained but experienced. His messages challenge believers to grow in spiritual maturity, embrace Kingdom living, and become active disciples who influence the world around them.
Pastor Thames has pursued theological education through Selma University, Southeastern University, and Global University, earning degrees in Biblical Studies. His commitment to lifelong learning is reflected in a ministry that values sound doctrine, biblical exposition, and practical application, equipping believers to understand, live, and share God’s Word with confidence.
Pastor Thames is the devoted husband of Pamila Thames and the proud father of Darius Thames Jr., Payton Teagle, and Zarius Thames. Together, he and his family are committed to serving God and helping others discover their purpose, deepen their faith, and experience the life-changing impact of Jesus Christ.
Whether preaching, teaching, mentoring leaders, or serving the local church, Pastor Thames remains committed to one calling: equipping people to know God, grow in His Word, and live lives that make an eternal impact. His passion is to see people encounter Christ, mature as disciples, and become transformational leaders who make a lasting impact in their homes, churches, communities, and beyond.
Co-Pastor
Pamila Thames is the wife of Pastor Darius Thames and the proud mother of three sons: Darius, Payton, and Zarius. Serving faithfully as Co-Pastor at The Impact Bible Church. She is deeply committed to building the body of Christ through the bold and uncompromising teaching of God’s Word.
For over 24 years, she has honorably served in the United States Army Reserve, including 16 years as a Human Resource Facilitator, equipping Soldiers to excel in both military readiness and career development. Her leadership has empowered countless individuals to grow as effective managers and leaders.
Her influence also extends into the community. She partners with local inner-city schools, supporting students through mentoring, relationship building, and creating positive and respectful learning environments. She is the founder of Pamila Thames Ministries, which serves as both a prayer hub and a community resource center. Through this work, she has blessed families with food, fuel assistance, bottled water, and toiletries, while also hosting marriage and singles seminars to strengthen families and individuals in their walk with Christ.
Academically, Co-Pastor Thames holds an Associate’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Anchor Bible College and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree. She has been a voice of encouragement and mentorship to young women in difficult circumstances, discipling them in kingdom living and helping them discover their identity in Christ.
Firmly grounded in Colossians 3:23, “Whatever you do, do it as if you were doing it unto the Lord,” Co-Pastor Thames seeks to exemplify the love of Christ in all she does. Her life’s mission is to build up the church, bless the community, and leave an eternal impact for the glory of God.
